Scott has spent more than thirty years in aviation insurance. Most recently, he served as Area Executive Vice President of the Aviation Practice at Arthur J. Gallagher, where he advised aviation clients from 2008 through 2026.
Prior to Gallagher, Scott held leadership positions within the aviation practices at Marsh and Willis and began his brokerage career with Aon.
Throughout his career, he has advised airports, aircraft manufacturers, charter operators, corporate flight departments, fixed base operators, flight schools, maintenance organizations, and general aviation owners across virtually every segment of the aviation industry. He has also helped clients develop captive insurance strategies and alternative risk financing solutions.
Scott is a Commercial Multi-Engine Instrument Flight Instructor and a licensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic. He built and test-flew his own RV-6A aircraft. He holds both the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations and earned a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University.
His combination of broker, pilot, mechanic, and risk management experience provides a unique perspective that helps clients navigate both operational and insurance challenges.
